* What's New (v4.92), April 29, 2010
  • Added: MoboMath, a handwritten equation editor by Enventra, Inc., supported by MathMagic as a way of inserting equations, via drag&drop or copy&paste. "MoboMath for MathMagic" bundled to regular versions of MathMagic Personal and MathMagic Pro.

  • Changed: When importing LaTeX, unknown symbol names maintained without discarding.

  • Fixed: Drag and drop from foreign application while a MathMagic native equation is in the clipboard inserted a wrong equation.
  • Fixed: Batch Conversion of MS Word documents located on a certain location could not be converted.
  • Fixed: Some character spacings were incorrect when a non standard character was inserted.
  • Fixed: Primes were not handled in LaTeX import.
* What's New (v4.91), March 2, 2010
  • Changed: The default height of Left or right Superscript and Subscript templates changed when there is no base character.

  • Fixed: Drag&drop or Pasting of MathML expression did not work when there were leading space characters.
  • Fixed: "Save" dialog not displayed when closing a new window if the window received an equation via Drag&Drop only.
* What's New (v4.9), February 25, 2010
  • Added: Batch Conversion dialog now supports Extracting equations from MS Word documents (.doc or .docx). Equations can be saved in MathMagic format or converted to EPS, JPEG, MathML, or LaTeX. MathMagic can also extract all graphic images out to separate files from MS Word documents.
  • Added: Frown embellishment and 4 other accents added to Accent template palette and some palette items rearranged.
  • Added: Variable height Angle division template added to the Fraction template. Its angle width and height can be adjusted in the Define Spacing -> Fraction pane.

  • Changed: Vector(right arrow) accent is now displayed as a character instead of drawing an arrow shape
  • Changed: Left and Top edge of editor window now has 3pt gap not to touch equation to the window frame.

  • Fixed: Some \cr expressions handled better when importing LaTeX or Wiki equations.
  • Fixed: one line equation with a function name at the end may cause crash when copied as Plain TeX.
