Vancouver, Canada - InfoLogic today announces the release and immediate availability of MathMagic Personal Edition 8.6, their award-winning multi-purpose mathematical equation editor for Mac OS X.

This version adds SVG file format, new Triangular Frame types, Center-arrowed Templates, and new Math body text fonts.

Now equations can also be saved in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for better compatibility with web browsers and other applications to display equations and symbols in high quality vector image. MathMagic is well known for batch conversion of equations from various industry standard math formats. It now enables converting from MathML and LaTeX expressions to SVG as well as other formats such as PDF, Transparent PNG, JPG.

MathMagic works as a stand-alone application so those equations written in MathMagic can be used by wide range of applications by drag and drop, copy and paste, or by exporting to external files.
